E Komo Mai – Welcome

Celebrating Our Kona Community

The Pure Kona Markets yearly schedule is every Sunday 9 am – 2 pm. The market is located at the Amy Greenwell Botanical Gardens in Captain Cook, on the Big Island of Hawaii. Formerly the South Kona Green Market, this local farmers and artists market was founded with the intention of “From the land – By our hand”.

A unique mix of vendors ranging from fresh made food and farmers of local produce, flowers and coffee, to local artist and craftsmen including jewelry, pottery, clothing, photography, woodwork and carving. We also have healing professionals such as massage, chiropractors, veterinarians and those providing spiritual healing.

Fresh Made Food & Locally Grown Produce

Our food represents the different cultures and flavors of our Hawaiian Island. We have a variety of produce and fresh fruits, vegetable and herbs, new and different each week. We also feature local 100% Kona Coffee, fresh juices, honey, and jams & jellies to taste or take home as gifts.

As our markets grow, we strive to promote regional agriculture by providing small family farms the opportunity to sell their locally grown products directly to consumers, to ensure that all our locals and visitors alike have access to the freshest, most nutritious locally grown food the region has to offer. We are also EBT friendly.

Live Music

Once you arrive at the market, you will be greeted with Live Local Music. We have a talented variety of local artists that all bring amazing energy to the market. Come dance with us & enjoy the island vibes while shopping with local vendors. Every month we feature a unique rotation of musical performances, ranging thru several genres.
